We are aware of and appreciate the trust you place in us. We therefore consider it our responsibility to protect your privacy. In this privacy statement we explain to you which personal data we collect and use and for what purpose, so that you are informed before using our website(s) or otherwise contact us. This way you will understand exactly how we work.
Also, in view of the applicability of the General Data Protection Regulation, we obviously ensure careful processing and security of your personal data.
Majestic respects the privacy of all users of its websites and ensures that the personal data you provide us with are treated confidentially.

In this privacy statement Majectic Products B.V., also acting under the trade names Majestic Products B.V. and OXXA Safety Gloves (hereinafter referred to as: “Majestic”), provides information about the processing of personal data by Majestic. Majestic has its registered office at Jan Campertlaan 6, 3201 AX in Spijkenisse and is registered in the Trade Register under number 24242075. Majestic Products B.V. is a trade name under which Majestic supplies personal protective equipment, in particular work gloves. OXXA Safety Gloves is a trademark under which Majestic imports and exports work gloves. Majestic supplies work gloves under the trade name OXXA Safety Gloves in various countries and to various industries such as glass, steel, construction, automotive and agriculture.
When offering its services, selling products and visiting the website https://www.majestic.nl and/or https://www.oxxa-safety.com (hereinafter also: the “Websites”) Majestic processes your personal data when you contact us. Majestic is responsible for secure processing. Majestic is, therefore, the Controller with respect to personal data obtained or generated via the Websites, email, Linkedin or other social media channels.
This Privacy Statement has been drawn up because of the legal obligation to inform you as transparently as possible about which personal data Majestic processes, what your rights are and how the personal data are protected.
Personal data processed by Majestic
Majestic processes personal data when you provide these to us, for example by completing the contact form.
Below is an overview of the personal data we can process depending on the products you purchase from us or personal data that are processed for the purposes listed below:
- First and last name;
- Company name (if this is your name);
- Telephone number;
- Email address/addresses;
- Chamber of Commerce number
- VAT number (for self-employed individuals this is also (still) considered personal data);
Purpose of processing of personal data
Majestic processes the (special) personal data listed above exclusively for the purposes set out below:
- Offering its services and selling products;
- Informing interested (potential) customers through various channels intended for marketing and communication activities (such as newsletters and social media);
- Organising events for its customers;
- To comply with its legal obligations;
- Payment processing;
- Recruitment and selection of applicants; and
- Adding dealers to the Dealer Locator on the website https://www.oxxa-safety.com.
Basis for processing personal data
Majestic processes the personal data referred to above exclusively on the basis of the grounds referred to below (in any order) within the meaning of the new European privacy law, the GDPR. Before Majestic processes your personal data, it will consider which personal data are necessary to achieve the above objectives.
Grounds:
- Statutory obligation of Majestic;
- Performance of the agreement concluded with Majestic;
- Obtained (express) consent from you as the data subject; and
- Legitimate interest.
Sharing personal data (with third parties)
Majestic may share your personal data with Majestic employees (who are involved in the performance of the agreement or in charge of administration).
Majestic does not sell your personal data to third parties and only shares your personal data with third parties to the extent necessary for the performance of the agreement. Majestic will take the above purposes into account when processing your personal data. In addition, Majestic may be obliged to share personal data with third parties if there is a legal obligation to do so. For example, in the event of a court order or to prevent fraud or other crimes and/or economic crimes.
Data processor agreements are concluded with companies that process your personal data on behalf of and at the request of Majestic (suppliers), whereby the third party concerned is also obliged to comply with the privacy legislation. This creates the same level of security and confidentiality of your personal data. Obviously, Majestic shall remain responsible for processing of your personal data.
Prior to entering into the agreement and during its performance, Majestic may share your personal data with service providers, allowing Majestic to assess its financial risks. Majestic does not make decisions about matters that may have (significant) consequences for individuals based on automated processing. Decisions based on automated processing are taken by computer programmes or systems without the involvement of a human being (for example, an employee of Majestic).
Personal Data Security
Majestic considers the security and protection of your personal data very important and, taking into account the state of the art, will take appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk. By concluding data processor agreements with its suppliers, who (may) have access to your personal data, Majestic ensures that abuse, loss, unauthorised access (including internally), unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification (with version management) is prevented. Majestic has selected its suppliers with great care. As a result, your personal data will be stored within the European Union.

Retention period personal data
Majestic will not retain your personal data for longer than is necessary to achieve the purposes stated in this Privacy Statement or for as long as OXXA is required to do so by law. After that we will delete any data about you that we have. On first request, a register containing the specifications of retention periods per contact may be forwarded. Your rights as a data subject
You may request Majestic to have your data corrected, supplemented, deleted or blocked if the personal data are incomplete, incorrect or processed in violation of a statutory provision. In addition, you have the right to request the personal data relating to you held by Majestic.
In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent or to object to the processing of your personal data. Majestic will terminate the processing if it is legally obliged to do so or if there are other compelling legitimate grounds for the termination of the processing that take precedence over your interests, rights and freedoms or that relate to the institution, exercise or substantiation of a legal claim.
Finally, Majestic would like to remind you that you also have the right to transfer the personal data processed by Majestic. This means that you may submit a request to us to send your personal data that we have in an (encrypted) computer file to you or to another organisation you have specified.
You may send your request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer, withdrawal of your consent or objection to the processing to info@majestic.nl or info@oxxa-safety.com.
To ensure that the request for access is made by you, we ask you to include a copy of your valid proof of identity with the request. We kindly ask you to cover the section with numbers at the bottom of your passport. You can do this simply by downloading the government app KopieID.
Upon receipt of your request, we will respond as soon as possible. Majestic would like to point out that you have the option of lodging a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Data Protection Authority. Use of social media
Majestic’s Websites contain buttons to promote or share web pages on social media or third party websites, such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube. Majestic does not monitor and is not responsible for the processing of your personal data by and through such third parties. The use of such media is entirely at your own risk, therefore. Use of cookies or similar technologies
Our Websites use so-called functional and analytical ‘cookies’. Cookies are small (text) files that are placed on your computer, tablet or smartphone when visiting a website.
The functional cookies are used to help our website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the website may be transferred to Majestic’s own secure servers. We use this information to track how the Websites are used, to compile reports on website activity and to offer other services related to website activity and internet usage.
The analytical cookies are used to collect statistics on the use of our Websites. To this end, Majestic uses Google Analytics from Google Inc. Majestic has set Google Analytics cookies as ‘privacy friendly’ as possible, in line with the relevant manual of the Data Protection Authority. This means that the data collected through Google Analytics are anonymised to the extent possible and that Google will never (be able to) process your full IP address, because IP addresses are masked. Majestic does not use other Google services in combination with Google Analytics cookies.
The collected data are stored on servers by Google. Because Google has servers worldwide, it cannot be ruled out that your personal data will be stored in the United States. Google declares that it will comply with European privacy legislation. Majestic has made agreements with Google regarding the processing of personal data. Browser settings for cookies
These days browsers are set up to be privacy friendly. This is a requirement under the new privacy legislation. Cookies that require permission are not automatically placed. You will need to give permission separately by ticking the various cookies.
