uvex i-5 – Sharper contrast and relaxed vision, all day long
The uvex i-5 is a premium safety spectacle that combines a sporty design with reliable protection and optimum wearing comfort. The innovative x-tended eyeshield gently wraps around the brow and helps prevent particles from entering from above. The integrated sideshield provides additional protection against hazards from the side.
Thanks to the ergonomically shaped temples with multiple incline points and length adjustment, the spectacles can be precisely adapted to different facial shapes and head widths. The soft, non-slip temple ends provide a secure and comfortable fit without unpleasant pressure. The soft, flexible nose pad also adapts to the wearer and helps prevent the spectacles from slipping.
The robust polycarbonate lens features proven uvex supravision coating technology. The lens is permanently anti-fog on the inside and highly scratch-resistant on the outside. The uvex i-5 also provides UV400 protection against harmful UV radiation up to 400 nm. The spectacles are completely metal-free, while an optional clip-in frame seal is available for additional protection against dust, dirt and particles.
CBR65 lens – enhanced contrast, reduced visual fatigue
The CBR65 lens has been developed to make vision more comfortable during work. The lens enhances contrast, making details and objects easier to perceive. At the same time, it filters 95% of high-energy visible (HEV) blue light at 450 nm. This contributes to a more relaxed and comfortable visual experience, particularly during prolonged exposure to bright light.
CBR stands for Contrast, Blue light reduction and Relaxed vision – three properties that work together to provide a more comfortable visual experience. With a 65% light transmission, the lens also offers a good balance between protection against bright light and sufficient light transmission for clear vision. The result is a safety spectacle that not only protects the eyes, but also helps keep them comfortable throughout the working day.
