Sustainability meets performance

The latest version of a highly successful model is here: following on from the uvex phynomic XG, an assembly glove with excellent grip in oily areas, the uvex safety group is now offering the uvex phynomic XG planet. As well as being more sustainable; this model also has improved features – it is offered under the same item number (60070 + size).

Use of sustainable materials

The uvex phynomic XG planet is made from more than 50% sustainable materials: instead of polyamide fibres (as in the uvex phynomic XG), uvex uses recycled polyamide for the planet version. Because fewer new raw materials are required, the safety glove’s carbon footprint is reduced by as much as 29%. The long service life of uvex safety gloves reduces the need for replacement, contributing to waste reduction and cost savings. Because these gloves are produced at our uvex factory in Lüneburg, Germany, we limit long transportation distances.

Outstanding performance and functionality

As well as the attributes that make them particularly sustainable, this assembly glove has many other impressive features. The safety glove offers excellent dexterity, high flexibility, a perfect fit and high breathability. The XG abbreviation denotes the Xtra Grip aqua-polymer foam coating, which ensures that this glove has the best oil grip in its class. Unlike the original model, the planet version can also be used to operate touch screens, so you no longer need to remove your gloves before using your smartphone or other displays. The safety glove is also dermatologically approved and certified for skin compatibility by proDERM®. Moldex EasyLock® filters can be fitted directly on the mask, both on 7000-series half masks and 9000-series full-face masks. By means of a bayonet connection, you can easily and quickly attach the filters to the mask, no loose adapters needed!

The particle filters and gas filters come in different classes and are easy to combine. You can also choose a ready-to-use combination filter. Moreover, the filters are always in good supply and attractively priced!

The attentive reader may now be thinking…’hey, but for my Moldex mask, I do need an adapter for the filters!’ That’s correct, for the 8000-series half-face masks, the filters cannot be attached directly to the mask. This is an older model and will be discontinued from next year. The 7000-series is an updated version of the 8000-series and will replace it!
