After you have created an account, your request will be submitted to our sales department. It will take about one working day for your details to be processed. Once your registration has been approved, you will be able to view prices online and place orders.

After placing your order you will automatically receive a confirmation email. You will receive an official order confirmation with additional information once your order has been processed and checked by our sales department. This final confirmation email will include details about open box surcharges, and delivery and/or administrative fees, if applicable.

Products that are in stock are displayed on the product overview pages with a green check mark icon. In-stock items are delivered within one to two working days of the order being placed.

If an orange dot appears next to a product, this means the item you want is not in stock and has to be ordered. Of course, you will be able to order the item from our webshop, but the delivery time will be longer than normal.

To ensure the health and safety of your workers, it is essential that you ask an expert for advice on the types of PPE available and their suitability for different tasks. Chemical substances can cause serious and permanent injuries if used improperly or if you are exposed to them without appropriate protection. Work garments made from a 65/35 blend of polyester and cotton are very colour fast, but have low moisture absorbency and poorer heat insulation properties compared to cotton.

Whereas work garments made from a 65/35 blend of cotton and polyester provide outstanding insulation and moisture absorbency as well as a high level of comfort.

Both fabric blends are wear resistant, washable, crease resistant and shrink less than all cotton.

In the Netherlands, 80 dB(A) is considered to be a safe threshold for eight hours of daily exposure without protection. If this threshold is exceeded, employers are required to provide hearing protection. In case of exposure above 85 dB(A) a policy must be developed by the employer to reduce harmful noise. For example, rooms in which wearing hearing protection is mandatory must be indicated with pictograms.

Once in use, the longevity of the filter will depend on various factors, including how vigorous the user’s activity is, the frequency of use, the filter’s moisture absorption properties, etc. If respirators are not used properly or removed very frequently, outside contaminants may enter into the respirator or leakage may occur at the respirator edges.

In order to determine when a respirator filter should be changed, these environmental conditions, amongst other things, should be taken into account.

For safety shoes, the EN ISO 20345 norm defines the different criteria according to the protection you need. Each criterion has a different code. There are several ratings for safety boots and they are denoted by an abbreviation. They start with the letter S, for Safety, and are as follows: SB, S1, S2, S3 for safety shoes, and S4 and S5 for waterproof safety boots.

Sometimes a manufacturer will add on an additional letter. For example, a common one is S1P. This indicates that the shoe has an optional feature.

Both composite and steel toe caps meet the minimum safety standards set out by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The difference is that damage to the toes of steel-toe shoes or boots is very visible. Composite toe caps generally rebound or tear after compression, which makes wear and tear less visible.

The longevity of a safety helmet depends on various factors, including the quality of the wear-resistant material and the nature of its use.

The table below shows the average life expectancy of the different materials. The recommended service life does not apply if the manufacturer’s instructions for use specify a different expiration timeframe. We advise you to always read the instructions for use carefully.

No, bump caps are designed for people working in spaces where they might bump their head against stationary objects. In construction, workers are required to wear safety helmets designed to protect the wearer from falling objects and other hazards. These helmets must meet the requirements of EN 397, the European Standard that specifies physical and performance requirements for industrial safety helmets.

Polycarbonate (PC) lenses are not only impact resistant, but are also the most light-weight lenses on the market. Most PC lenses have a built-in scratch-resistant coating, but they are less suitable for working with aggressive chemicals. Cellulose acetate (AC) lenses are scratch resistant and especially suitable for work that involves handling chemicals.

Polycarbonate and cellulose acetate lenses are both plastic materials. Plastic lenses offer optimal protection for almost all working conditions.

Clear lens
A clear lens is suitable for mechanical activities in indoor and outdoor work environments. Protects against impact and UV rays, and provides true colour recognition.

Amber (yellow) lens
Suitable for visual inspections, hunting and mechanical activities. Protects against impact, UV and blue light (480 nm) and provides greater contrast in poor light.

Orange lens
Suitable for visual inspections, medical treatments and mechanical activities. Protects against impact, UV and blue light (480 nm), increases contrast and sharpness, and reduces eye fatigue.

Sun lens
Suitable for outdoor work environments and mechanical activities with risk of blinding. Protects against impact, UV rays, sunlight and brightness due to reflection of harmful beams of light.

Indoor/Outdoor (I/O) lens
Suitable for workers moving from indoors to outdoors and vice versa, and for working in artificial light conditions. Protects against impact, UV rays and blinding light.

Welding lens
Suitable for welding. Various lens shades available depending on type of welding. Protects against impact, UV rays, infrared light and visible light from welding.

Polarised lens
A revolutionary coated, gradient lens offering better long-term eye comfort. The lens maintains true colour balance and improves contrast and definition.

HD lens
A revolutionary coating for exceptional clarity and light transmission. Suitable for every industrial application where no sun protection is needed.

Variomatic lens
Self-colouring filter with automatic darkening within 10 seconds and brightening after 30 seconds. Protects against UV rays. Suitable for workers who frequently move from indoors to outdoors or from light to dark environments. The use of these types of lenses may not increase risks for workers and therefore may not be permitted in some work situations.

Yes, Majestic can have prescription safety glasses made for you. We have many types of lenses, models and additional options to choose from. Special colour or antiglare coatings can also be applied.

What lens coating to use depends on the level of risk exposure.

Is there a risk of impact or spatter? Then a scratch-resistant coating is recommended. Does the work have to be carried out in damp conditions or are there changes in temperature from cold to warm and vice versa? Then an antifog coating is recommenced.

For work activities in damp conditions where there is a risk of impact or spatter, we offer lenses with an antifog coating on the inside plus a scratch-resistant coating.

No, Majestic doesn’t inspect fall protection PPE. Inspections are carried out by the manufacturer. You can request a copy of the inspection report from your designated contact at Majestic.

Any activity that involves working above ground, where there is a risk of falling from one level to a lower one, is considered work at height and should be performed wearing proper fall protection equipment. In the Netherlands, fall protection is required for activities carried out at heights of 2.5 metres or more.
