Hearing protection
Hearing protection is an absolute necessity
in loud workplaces. The level at which employers
are required to provide hearing protection is 80 dB(A).
Hearing damage is among the most common occupational diseases in the Netherlands but can be easily prevented by wearing ear protection. Workers who don’t wear hearing protection are gambling with their health.

Earplugs
When workers are exposed to loud noise, earplugs can

Hearing brackets
Hearing brackets hold earplugs in
place and make wearing earplugs in and
removing them more convenient. The headband
rests comfortably around neck when the earplugs aren’t used.

Earmuffs are a popular choice in hearing protection due to
their ease of use and soft, consistent fit. They reduce noise
effectively and are therefore often used as the preferred
hearing protection device in work environments with continuous noise exposure.
