Global demand for disposable gloves

As previously informed, and as frequently pointed out in the news media, current global demand for disposable products, gloves in particular, has reached extreme proportions. As a result, the unprecedented price increases in these products have been as constant as they are extreme.

In our previous communication, we indicated that we would likely be faced with interim price increases as well, and that we expected this trend to continue. In view of the shortage of the aforesaid products and the current market volatility, we simply cannot issue any guarantees regarding prices and delivery periods.

In practice this means that when we place an order with our suppliers, no fixed delivery date or price is issued to us. This implies that we in turn are not able to provide you with such data either. We understand the inconvenience this may cause you, but we believe this approach to be the best course of action, one that will prevent misconceptions and misunderstanding.

We very much look forward to providing you with prices and delivery periods in the customary fashion as soon as the market has returned to ‘normal’.

Last but not least …

All of us are currently affected by a crisis with far-reaching consequences. Given the present situation, we are doing everything we can to provide you with the PPE you need. We shall undoubtedly continue to be confronted with a limited or delayed supply of products, but we are constantly monitoring our supply lines and are doing whatever we can to keep any impact on your organisation to a minimum.
